JOYCE ANNE (BARBER) MORRIS 1/10/1940 - 5/20/2016 SOMERVILLE, TN. - Joyce Anne Morris departed this life Friday, May 20, 2016 at her residence in Somerville, Tennessee. Remembrance services were held May 23, 2016 in Tennessee at Peebles West Funeral Chapel. A private interment will be held in the Friendship Cemetery in Moscow, Tennessee between her mother and father. Joyce was born January 10, 1940 in Moscow, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherwood and Mattie Malone Browning, and her daughters' father, retired Polk County Judge Jesse C. Barber, Jr. She was a graduate of Union University in Tennessee, and employed in Polk County, Florida as a school teacher for many years before her retirement. She is survived by her husband, Walter 'Buster' Morris of Somerville, Tennessee, her three daughters, Polk County Judge Susan Lee Barber, Orlando attorney Mary Jaye Barber Hall, Guardian ad Litem attorney Nancye Barber Cornelius, her brother, Belden Browning, and ten grandchildren. Her legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren, and the thousands of students she taught in her classrooms. Memorials may be directed to the Guardian ad Litem Program of the Tenth Judicial Circuit.

Morledge, Ruth Dilts  
RUTH DILTS MORLEDGE LAKELAND - Ruth Dilts Morledge a resident of Lakeland, FL passed away on May 12, 2016. She was born January 21, 1927, to Mary E. Haislup Dilts Weales and William Frederick Dilts in Columbus, IN. She was a member of the Mulberry United Methodist Church. Many years ago she was a Brownie Leader and a Cub Scout Mother. She was a 1945 graduate of Columbus High School, Columbus, IN. Ruth worked from 1945 to 1950, in the office of Reeves Pulley Co. on the Seventh Street in Columbus. In March 1950, she married Richard F. Anderson. He died in September 1981. In August 2003, she married Paul W. Mor-ledge, formerly of Columbus and now a resident of Lakeland, FL. They were married 56 years after their first date in 1947. Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard F. Anderson in 1981; son, Bill in 1975; an infant grandson; her parents; and sister, Dorothy Dilts Coleman. She is survived by her husband, Paul; brother, John A. Dilts; children, David L. (Kim) Anderson, Rev. John M. (Debra) Anderson, Joyce E. Anderson and her husband, Dennis Smail; step-son, Daryl Morledge; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Lakeland, FL and a graveside service was held at Garland Brook Cemetery, in Columbus, IN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mulberry United Methodist Church Building Fund, 306 N. Church Ave., Mulberry, FL 33860.

ADAM MICHAEL MACEDO, 22, AKA 'HOOKER ADAM' WINTER HAVEN - Adam Michael Macedo, 22, aka 'Hooker Adam', of Winter Haven, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at his home because 'Heaven needed a Hero'. He was born July 19, 1993, in Spring Hill, FL and moved here in 2002, from St. Petersburg. Adam was known as the 'Class Clown', someone you could never stay angry with and could always lift the spirits of those around him. His favorite saying 'Living the Dream' portrayed his sense of humor. He loved Pokemon and was an avid Magic The Gathering card game player. He is survived by his mother, Pat Furnish and his step-father, Terry Furnish of Winter Haven; his father, Jesus Macedo and his step-mother, Clemencia of Spring Hill, FL; 2 brothers, Jesse Macedo of Clearwater and Erik Macedo of Virginia; his step-father, Michael Hook of Babson Park; his step-brothers, Casey Furnish of Colorado and Tristan Hook of St. Petersburg; his step-sisters, Kristin Furnish of Colorado and Kateri Papolla of St. Petersburg; and many friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm, Friday, May 20, 2016, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 pm. TYLER EUGENE MACKLIN WINTER HAVEN - Tyler Eugene Macklin, 21, of Winter Haven, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at his home in Winter Haven. Born March 16, 1995, in Winter Haven, he was a lifelong resident of the area. He loved his music, fishing, playing golf, spending time with his family and friends and was an avid sports fan. Tyler is preceded in death by: his father, Roger Macklin; maternal grandfather, Emmett Hogue; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Joyce Macklin. He is survived by his mother, Sherri Lynn Macklin of Winter Haven; brother, Ryan Macklin of Winter Haven; his maternal grandmother, Reba Hogue of Winter haven; his uncles, Michael Hogue, Terry (Shannon) Hogue, and Chad Hogue, all of Winter Haven; aunts, Donna Macklin of Winter Haven, Denise Lorenz of Apopka, Debbie Harris of North Carolina, and Dolores McKettrick of North Carolina; great-aunt, Beverly Holcombe of Winter Haven; and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 19, 2016, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
