DONALD RAY KERR LAKELAND - Donald Ray Kerr passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. He was born on July 3, 1944 in Wilmington, Ohio to Austin and Margaret Kerr. He was a superintendent for many years in the construction business. Donald was an avid golfer and enjoyed a friendly game of cards. He was a loving father and a devoted husband. He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Margaret Kerr, brothers, Gerald Kerr, Orville Kerr, George Kerr and Hal Kerr. He is survived by his wife Annette Kerr, daughter Ashley Edmund (Jack Edmund III), three sisters, Kay Flint (Danny), Maxine White (Randy), Margie (Jeter) Kerr, two brothers, Wayne Kerr (Doris), and Kenny Kerr (Ruth). Service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm at All Saint's Episcopal Church, 202 S. Massachusetts Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801 with a reception following from 2:30 - 4:30 pm at Heath Funeral Chapel Tribute Center, 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801. Fly with the angels Dad rest in peace. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL, 33823. KOVES, ELAINE  
ELAINE KOVES, 74 WINTER HAVEN - Elaine Helen Koves, age 74, of Winter Haven passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at home with her husband, Ken, at her bedside. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 3, 1942 to Frank & Helen Mark. She married Ken Koves on February 8, 1964 at St. Margaret of Hungary in Cleveland. She was a graduate of Marymount High School (1960) and of St. John's Catholic College (B.S. & M.A. in Education, 1964 & 1966). She then worked as a teacher at St. Anne's Catholic School. After moving to Winter Haven in 1978, Elaine led a 26-year career in the Publix Bakery. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ken Koves; son Robert Koves & daughter-in-law Maria Nikolova, both of Mill Creek, WA; daughter Sandra Brayton, Bartow; son-in-law Michael Gerding, Winter Haven; and seven grandchildren: Elizabeth Tremblay, Jessica Brayton, Kathryn M. Gerding, Matthew Brayton, Zachary Gerding, and twins Gracie & Kenny Koves. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathryn H. Gerding (1999). Elaine's parting words for her family and friends: 'I want youse all to go to church!' Honoring Elaine's wish, please join us in celebration of her life and the remarkable woman that she was. A Mass will be held at 9AM on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Winter Haven.

MATTHEW KLINE, 25 AUBURNDALE - Matthew Kline, 25, of Auburndale passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016. He will join his late mother Robin Kline and grandmother Jacqueline Kline in a better place. He is survived by his son Bryce Kline and his loving family Patrick Kline, Keith Mocherman, Ladd Kline, Jill Kline, Robert Kline, Sue Kline and his cousins Justin Kline, Erin Kline, Erik Kline, Robyn Kline and Donna Kline, and Emily Lataille. Matthew enjoyed spending time with his son and friends as well as boating and fishing. A Celebration of Life will be held at Cypress Woods Country Club on Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 4:30-7:30 PM.
