TAYLOR SCOTT NAGELI, 67 LAKELAND - Taylor 'Scott' Nageli, age 67, died Tuesday at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland after a long battle with respiratory compromise. Mr. Nageli is survived by his four children: Stacey Adams, Melissa Lumpuy, Tiffany McDaniel, and Wesley Nageli. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Dom-inic, Jacob, Zavier, Jasmine, Arielle, Marvens, Lillian, Camden and Sienna. Scott is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served bravely in combat in the United States Marine Corps, earning several medals, including the Air Medal W/8. He was born in Grove City, PA, the oldest son of four siblings, the others surviving him, Suzanne Nicholson, Paul 'Buck' Nageli and William Nageli. The bravery and patriotism he learned in the Marines never left him, as friends and family will attest. After serving in the armed forces, he worked many years for Montgomery as an elevator technician and mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to church, playing tennis and softball when he was younger, and going to the beach. And he loved a good Reuben sandwich from Fat Jack's Delicatessen Services will be held this Monday at 1 PM at Highland Park Church of the Nazarene located at 4777 Lakeland Highlands Rd in Lakeland, FL with a reception following at the home of his oldest daughter. His ashes will be interred at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, at a later time.
