MARTHA HELEN RAWLINGS BAKER WINTER HAVEN - Martha Helen Rawlings Baker, 94, beloved mother and wife, of Winter Haven, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Winter Haven Hospital resulting from a stroke. Born October 12, 1921, to Fred P. and Mattie Fox Rawlings in Sevierville, TN, she attended Maryville College before transferring to the University of Tennessee. After graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1942, she moved to Winter Haven, where she taught history at Winter Haven High School. She married local businessman, Cecil Baker on December 16, 1945. They just celebrated 70 years of marriage this past December. She was an active member at Beymer Memorial United Methodist Church for over 70 years. She was preceded in death by a son, Mike Baker and a brother, Dr. Frederick Rawlings. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Baker; 2 sons, Stephen Baker and his wife Jeanette of Winter Haven and Dr. Robin A. Baker and his wife Kathryn of Winter Haven, FL; a daughter, Jane Ann Baker of Raleigh, NC; 8 grandchildren, William (Jennifer) Baker, Constance (Seth) Jones, C.K. Baker, Henry Baker, Patrick Baker, Kevin Baker, Christopher Baker, and Ian McKillop; and 4 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Beymer Memorial United Methodist Church in Winter Haven. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in her name to Beymer Memorial United Methodist Church. Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com .

RAYMOND KENNETH 'KENNY' BRIDGES, 54 AUBURNDALE - Mr. Raymond Kenneth 'Kenny' Bridges, age 54, a resident of Auburndale, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mr. Bridges was born July 19, 1961 in Winter Haven to Curtis and Agnes (Bennett) Bridges. Kenny was a cattle rancher and a lifelong Polk County resident. He graduated Auburndale High School and retired from the City of Auburndale in November 2014. Kenny attended Berea Baptist Church in Auburndale and enjoyed cattle ranching with Gapway Groves. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Billy Ard. Kenny is survived by his loving family: wife of 35 years, Sheila Bridges of Auburndale; son Brandon Kenneth Bridges of Auburndale; 6 brothers: Jimmy (Diane) Ard of Winter Haven, Donald (Diane) Ard of Chipley, Clyde (Christine) Bridges of Soperton, GA, Ray Bridges of Lake Alfred, Ronnie Bridges of Polk City, Dennis Bridges of Clermont; sister Debbie (Jimbo) Varnes of Auburndale, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Kersey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held before from 10-11. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.

CLARENCE EUGENE 'GINO' COMMUSO, 76 FORT MEADE - Mr. Clarence Eugene 'Gino' Commuso, 76, was born January 1940 in Pinkneyville, Illinois to James Henry Commuso and Pansy Opal Taylor, and passed to be with our heavenly father on February 6th, 2016 in Lakeland, Florida at Lakeland Regional Hospital due to complications from a fall. Gino was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving a three year tour of duty in the 1st Marine Division, and a 41 year employee and Industrial Engineer of Wells/Castwell Products in Skokie, IL. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, family man and enjoyed each moment he spent with his family. Gino is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James David Commuso, Pete Commuso, Gilbert Commuso; sister, Nellie Saddler. He is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Lyn Durrance Commuso, Fort Meade, FL; sons, James Henry Commuso and wife Allison and Robert Marshal Commuso and friend Lisa Welch; daughter, Kathleen Maria Kolaczewski and husband Richard; brothers, Raymond Commuso, Larry Commuso, Chuck Commuso and Carl Commuso; grandchildren, Brandon and Ryan; ex-wife, Patricia Joan Rudolph; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, 2015 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenny Slay officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery, Fort Meade. In lieu of flowers, donations or personal time may be given to a favorite charity of choice.
