LAGRANGE, GA. - Mrs. Anna E. Williamson, 97, passed away quietly and peacefully Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Hospice LaGrange, due to natural causes.
Mrs. Williamson was born January 8, 1917, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Fredrick Oregon Eakins and Martha Rizer Eakins. She worked as an Occupational Therapist, dedicating the majority of her time to those with physical handicaps. She was greatly involved with DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Otis Williamson.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Kenneth) Herring of LaGrange, GA; son, Kenneth D. (Nancy) Williamson of Lake Placid, FL; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 10, 2014 in the Chapel of First United Methodist Church of LaGrange with Dr. Harold Lawrence officiating. The Gathering of Family and Friends will be one hour prior to service at the church.
