Born in Columbus, GA, on Nov. 5, 1977, April was Baptist by faith and had attended Lake Gibson High School.
She was preceded in death by her mother Debra Thorn. She is survived by her father Danny Thorn, Lakeland, FL; sons Devin Ray Shaw, Wolcottville, IN, Mark W. Frerichs, Ethan R. Frerichs, both of Lakeland; sister Amy M. Thorn, Lakeland; brother Danny Thorn, II, Phenix City, AL.
