LAKELAND - Charlotte Morgan Walters, 76, passed away Mar. 17, 2013 at Highlands Lake Center from complications of Alzheimer's.
Mrs. Walters was born in Gadsden, AL, on Feb. 28, 1937. She graduated from Cherokee County High School in Gadsden, AL. She moved to Lakeland 50 years ago where she was an active volunteer in the community. She was previously
a member of the GFWC Junior Woman's Club of Lakeland and the Needlework Guild. She also was active in her children's schools as they were growing up. Her hobbies included traveling and reading.
Mrs. Walters was preceded in death by her husband, Walt Walters, and son, Skip Walters. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Shannon W. and Roger Benzel of Plant City, FL.

Interment will be at a later date in Alabama.
