LAKELAND - Evelyn "Chris" Keister, 69 passed away December 11, 2012 at her home due to heart failure.
She retired as a bookkeeper from Quality Petroleum and worshipped at Victory Church.
Our Mother ... A treasured precious gift from The Lord above ... The Rock of our family ... She had an extraordinary heart of gold ... A woman of strength who loved
and gave so very much to all those she knew, loving life and living for the joy she found in each new day ... A brilliant example of a loving, caring wife
and mother ... Our mother will be deeply missed and live on in our hearts forever. A lover of nature, gardening and animals, she added beauty to our world.
She is survived by her
husband Everett Lloyd
Keister, Jr.; daughter
Kimberly Scullark; sons
Jeffrey (Dee Dee) Keister,
Charles "Chuck" (Beth) Keister; sister Shirley Powers; brother Brad Owens; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will
be held Saturday at 11 am
at Gentry-Morrison, Southside with a visitation from 10-11. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the , 309 North Parsons Avenue, Brandon, FL 33510.
