BROWDER, Sr., 70

LAKELAND - Johnny Neal Browder Sr., 70, went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2012, due to complications of cancer, leaving deeply grieved family and many friends, God in a blink of an eye, taking Johnny from this life into his eternal life with God.
He was born in Bradenton, FL, on June 22, 1942. After serving in the Air Force in Indiana he moved back to Florida to pursue a career in the ministry. Johnny pastored and volunteered in many churches in Georgia, North Carolina and Florida. He also was self employed for many years in the Lakeland area. His favorite calling was teaching. He was a substitute teacher in Polk County schools and taught at Travis Technical school.
He loved our Lord and Savior, spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren and witnessing and serving his Lord any way and anytime he could.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brett Browder, and brother, Clarence & Sister Browder. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Browder of Lakeland, a daughter, Debby Wiggins (Guy), grandchildren, Brandon and Megan Wiggins, N.C., sons Johnny N. Browder, Jr., (Mel-inda), grandchildren, (Brett, deceased), Luke, SC, Whitney, Lakeland, Jacob, and Paul Browder of GA, Gary L. Browder (Mary), grandson Logan Browder of Lakeland, sister, Martha Chancey of Bradenton, brother George Browder (Lucy) of GA, brother-in-law Bobby Chancey (Rose) and sister-in-law Barbara Chancey, all of Riverview, FL, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends around Polk County.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice.
