LAKELAND - Lambert William Wesche, 89, passed away as a result of heart failure, Wednesday, February 27, 2013.
He was born April 6, 1923, in St. Louis, Missouri. Lambert was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army, where he served in field artillery, in the European Theater, in London, Paris and Germany, during World War II. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Lambert was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; infant daughter and son, and son Roy. He is survived by daughter, Carol; sons, Kenneth (Mary Jean) Wesche and Keith Wesche; daughter in law, Pat Gruber; sister, Ruth Brice; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted in his honor on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4450 Harden Boulevard in Lakeland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lambert's memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church and School or Good Shepherd Hospice.
