FORT WHITE - Lesia Gail Fischer, 50, died peacefully, with her family at her side, on September 30, 2012 at her home in Fort White, Florida after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Mrs. Fischer was born December 8, 1961 in Lakeland, Florida and moved to Fort White, Florida in 1996. She was a member of the National Honor Society and worked in the home improvement business prior to her illness. Mrs. Fischer loved animals and was the owner of Fischer's Find Alpaca Ranch in North Florida.
Mrs. Fischer was preceded in death by her parents Roe N. Fields and Norma Jean Fields, and her sister Debora L. Fields. She is survived by her husband of 29 years Glenn L. Fischer of Fort White, sons Logan S. Fischer of Fort White, Joshua P. Allen of Worthington Springs, FL and daughter Amanda L. Fischer of Fort White. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren.
The family will have a celebration-of-life ceremony at her home Saturday, October 13th at 11:00 AM. After cremation Mrs. Fischer's remains will return home for eternal rest.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the or MAYO Clinic in Jacksonville.
