Reba Inez Kelley


POLK CITY - Reba Inez Kelley of Polk City, FL, left this earth to receive her angel wings on Tuesday, March 6, 2013. Reba died of heart failure at her home with members of her loving family at her side.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Robert Kelley, daughters Mary Lou Kelley and Frances Caldwell, and sons Hubert Kelley, Noah Kelley, and Wayne Kelley.
She is survived by daughters Melba Mc-Carty, Polly Howell, Angela Lineberger (Bobby) and Sue Gibson, sons James Kelley, John Kelley, Jr. (Paula), Jim Kelley (Linda), Donnie Kelley (Margaret), Leroy Kelley, and Billy Kelley.
She is also survived by five generations of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and one great great great grandchild.
Reba was born in Coffee County, Alabama on July 28, 1923. She moved to Avon Park, FL, in 1959. She relocated to High Springs, FL, in 1979 after the death of her husband. She moved to Polk City in 2008.
Reba will be greatly missed. She touched many lives on her journey through life. She was an inspiration to everyone who crossed paths with her. God has received a treasure.
"The Lord bless you and keep you: the Lord make his face shine upon you: and be gracious to you: the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace". (Numbers 6:24-26).
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Fountain Funeral Home. A graveside funeral will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 11:00 am at Bougainvillea Cemetery in Avon Park, FL.
