DUNDEE - Rose Etta (Rosie) Younger, 54 of Dundee, passed away on Feb 13, 2014 due to respiratory failure.
Rosie was born November 12, 1959 in Sandusky, OH and moved to Florida as an infant. Rosie lived most of her life in Florida.
Rosie worked at Dundee Citrus Growers first as a citrus packer and later as a supervisor for more than 20 years.
Rosie is survived by her daughter Angel Schafer (Douglas) of Lakeland, FL., two brothers Roger Burton of Fayetteville, Ga and Joe Garrison of Winter Haven, FL. and her sisters Patsy Dobson and Joan Wills of AL. Rosie is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Paul Frueh, Lewis Frueh, Justice Mixon, Crystal Schafer, Jacob Schafer, and Joshua Schafer all from Lakeland, FL. Rosie is also survived by many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Rosie also leaves behind a beloved companion of 10 years, Arley Henson, of Dundee.
Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jewel Garrison and Kenneth Burton. Rosie is also preceded in death by her brother Dennis Garrison.
Services will be held at 2 PM Wed. Feb. 19, at Ott Laughlin Memorial Gardens, K-Ville. Visitation will be held prior to the services at 1 PM. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Auburndale Memorial Park. Ott Laughlin FH is handling the arrangements.
