COMBEE, Jr., 55

LAKELAND - On Saturday, September 28, 2013 William (Billy) Morgan Combee, Jr. went home to be with the Lord due to heart failure. Billy was born on August 8, 1958 to William and Sharon Combee of Lakeland.
He is survived by his son, William Combee, III and his wife, Tiffany, and his mom, Brenda Eser, brothers, Bart and Nickalous Combee, and grandson William IV, who was born Sept. 29th.
Billy graduated from Lakeland High School in 1976, where he was very active in marching and concert band and formed many lifelong friendships, including his friend in Christ, Bill Pinner and family.
He lived and worked most of his life in Lakeland, traveling to New England a lot early on in his life after receiving his Thoroughbred Horse Trainers license. He had many accomplishments, including winning Florida's biggest race with Admiral Whiskers. He also, proudly owned and operated Billy's Deli on Edgewood Dr. until it closed several years ago. He was working with Bill Combee Plumbing and Repair until his illness no longer allowed him to.
Billy was a very loving and giving person, helping and lending a hand to whoever needed one. He will be missed by many and is loved by many more.
