WILSIA "LUCILLE" KILLINGSWORTH, 85

LAKELAND - Wilsia "Lucille" Killingsworth went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2013, surrounded by her love ones after a battle with cancer.
She was born November 3, 1927, in Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Dyer. She was their seventh child of nine children. The family moved to Lakeland when Lucille was ten. She graduated from Lakeland Senior High School and attended Lakeland Business School.
She was an exquisite southern cook who enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
She was married to her loving husband, George, until his passing in 2001.
Her life was complete, as a Christian, wife of forty-eight years, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and business owner. She will be missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, George Killingsworth, Greg (Kathy) Killingsworth, Susan (Barry) Young, Steve (Debbie) Killingsworth and Brian Killingsworth, eleven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Too, she is survived by her brother, Franklin Dyer, and her sister, Lois Mills, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lanier Funeral Home, 717 W. Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013, at Lanier Funeral Home, 717 W. Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805.
