Royster of Mulberry
AUBURNDALE - W.T. Harrison, Jr. passed away of lung cancer on June 1, 2011, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.
He was born in Perry County Mississippi and moved to Florida in 1949. He lived in Winter Haven and Medulla before moving to Auburndale in 2001. He was retired from Royster of Mulberry and in the last years operated a crane in his own business. He was a member and trustee of Lake Region Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents W.T., Sr. and Lela Mae Harrison, brother Rev. Norman R. Harrison, and granddaughter Autumn Harrison. He is survived by his daughter Renea Hazelbaker of Lakeland, his son Rex Harrison of Auburndale, brothers Charles Harrison of Mt. Olive, Mississippi, B.J. Harrison of Mt. Dora, Florida, sisters Nell Creel of Birmingham, Alabama, Hazelene Chumney of Auburndale, grandchildren, Jordan and Savannah Hazelbaker, Jonathan Harrison, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 11th, at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Region Baptist Church in Winter Haven.
