LAKELAND - Mrs. Arline V. Engelking, 90, passed away, as a result of heart failure, Tuesday, May 17, 2011.
Born October 1, 1920 in Wishek, North Dakota, Mrs. Engelking moved to Lakeland in 1952 from Montana. She retired from J.C. Penney, where she was employed as a supervisor. She was a member of Faith Community Church.
Mrs. Engelking is survived by daughters: Judith (Bob) Howell and Marcia (Mike) Neuhofer, brother: Charles Abbott, grandchildren: Donna, Dianne, Shannon and Matt and 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Mrs. Engelking's honor on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 10am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel at 1727 Bartow Road in Lakeland. Interment will follow at Glen-Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Engelking's family requests that memorial donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.

Dear Judity & Marcia,
Please accept my sincere sympathy in the passing of your Mother. I had the opportunity to see her while she was in the Nursing Home and even wished her a Happy Mother's Day. She was a very special lady.
