LAKELAND - James H. Harvey, 82, died May 16, 2013 at his home due to cancer. He was born in Wellsburg, WV and moved to Lakeland in 1992 from Riverview, MI.
Mr. Harvey Graduated from West Liberty University, did graduate work at West Virginia University and served in the US Army. He was a former school Principal at Wintersville, OH. He was Training and Development Manager for Titanium Metals, Buckeye Steel, Columbus Coated Fabrics, McCall Printing, Marion Power Shovel and Great Lakes Steel. Mr. Harvey was a member of North Lakeland Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of American Legion, Pilgrim Lodge #691 F & AM and Sandpiper Men's Golf League.
He is survived by his wife Dolores Dee Harvey; children Scott (Beth) Harvey, Kent (Catherine) Harvey, Jill (Bill) Rohrer; grandchildren; Alex, Logan, Evan, Allyson, Shannon, Rachel, Emily and Abigail.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 23, at North Lakeland Presbyterian Church at 1:00 p.m.
