WINTER HAVEN - Sandra Faye Guemble of Winter Haven passed away from heart failure Wednesday, February 6, 2013. She was 65.
A native of Auburndale, born March 16, 1947 to Douglas and Margaret Purvis, Sandra has been a lifelong resident of the area. Sandra formerly worked for Grife Brothers Plastics in Auburndale, and she was a member of the Wahneta Church of God.
Sandra is survived by her daughters: Belinda Scroggins of Nashville, GA, Deana Owens of Tampa, FL, and Trina Slaughter of Lake Wales; her brothers: Jerry Purvis and Ray Purvis of Winter Haven; and her sisters: Elaine Thomas of Lawrenceville, GA and Linda Lacy of Bartow. Sandra also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday from the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Rolling Hills Cemetery. Condolences to the family can be sent to: www.oakridgefuneralcare.com .
