DAVENPORT - Deacon Arthur Lee Wilson, aka "Chick", 67 of Davenport, FL, a U.S. Army veteran, went from labor to reward on Monday, June 6th, 2011 in Haines City, FL.
Born on 03-25-44 in Ty Ty, Georgia, he was a lifelong resident of Davenport, FL. He was a Foreman for U.S. Steel and Growers Fertilizer Company, a faithful Deacon and servant of many ministries at Friendship MBC, and a member of the United Male Chorus.
Loving family members are his wife: Mrs. Lorene E. Wilson, his children: Willie Sims, Arthur Jr. and Derrick Wilson, Twila Fields and Helen Wilson, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a brother, five sisters, in-laws, extended family, church members and dear friends.
The family will receive guest and friends from 5-7 on Friday, 06-17-11 at Claude Holmes Sr. Memorial Chapel in Haines City, FL with services on Sat. 10:30 a.m. at Friendship MBC in Davenport, Florida. Military Honors at Jamestown Community Cemetery.
