AUBURNDALE - Bogie Andrew "Andy" Wren, 80, of Haines City died Thursday (June 2, 2011) from Heart Failure.
Mr. Wren was born 11/5/1930 in Paint Lick, KY, to Joe and Lettie Mae Kinnaird Wren. He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy. He was a master electrician and owned Wren's Electric. He was a member of Lankmark Baptist Church and the IBEW.
He was predeceased by his brother Bobby Wren; daughter Sheila Wren Jordan; and great grand daughter Desserie Harris.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Virginia; sons David A. (Sally) Wren and Michael J. (Nicole) Wren of Haines City; daughters Tina Emert of Albany, GA and Cindy Jo (Jon) Wilkes of Northville, MI; brothers Jackie Wren of Lakeland and Billy Joe Wren of Cascade, ID; sister Josephine Swindle of Haines City; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, June 6th, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City from 1PM to 2PM with services to follow at 2PM with Dr. Mickey Carter and Pastor Jon Wilkes officiating. To the most Precious Angel that had to leave us so he could be with God to watch over us from above. Sometimes it don't seem fair but God has his reasons. You can rest now Uncle Bogie and never hurt again. You will be in heaven celebrating with the all our family and friends we lost over the years. Mrs Virginia. Prayers for comfort, strength and peace go out to you and all of your wonderful family. I'm so sorry to about your loss but it brings me comfort to know he’s safe at home in the arms of the Lord. In the short time I cared for him he displayed so much kindness, strength and courage.
