CHARLES ROUSE Obituary

CHARLES GERALD
ROUSE, 65

LAKELAND - Charles G. Rouse, age 65, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away July 25, 2014 of natural causes.
He was born June 8, 1949, in Foley, Alabama, the son of Walstein Rouse and Melva (Wallace) Rouse. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Navy Reserves. Throughout his life, Mr. Rouse operated a successful business in the commercial glass industry. Mr. Rouse moved to Lakeland from Alabama many years ago and settled his young family in the North Lakeland community. Through the years to come, he became proudly involved in local churches, youth baseball, and soccer leagues.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sister Melba Jean Walker. He is survived by sons Brent Rouse (Summer) and Cory Rouse (Jennifer), both of Lakeland. His sons blessed him with six grandchildren. He also leaves behind sisters Martha Margado (Jay) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Diane Skuse of Levittown, Pennsylvania, and brother Scott Rouse (Laura), of Charlotte, North Carolina. He often recalled that the happiest times of his life were fishing and coaching youth sports.
His family will gather to remember him and lay him to rest on August 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Pine Rest Cemetery in Foley, Alabama.

My dear sons, I am so sorry for your loss, your Dad was way to young to leave this earth, but I know he is in a happier place today. I love you both, Mom.
