Teacher
MAITLAND - Cora R. Lane, age 70, of Maitland, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 from cancer.
Born July 13, 1940 in River Edge, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Central Florida and worked as a teacher. Mrs. Lane graduated from Lakeland High School, the University of Florida, and the University of Central Florida and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Maitland.
Mrs. Lane is survived by her husband, Norman Lane of Maitland; sons, David (Ana) Lane of Lake Mary and Michael Lane of Orlando; sisters, Charlotte Paff of Lakeland and Chloe Murphey of Franklin, NC.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 3:00PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Maitland, 341 US 17-92, Maitland, FL 32751. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714 or Haiti Child Sponsorship, 400 Peachtree Ind Boulevard, Suite 5-285, Suwanee, GA 30024. Services Entrusted to Loomis Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 420 West Main Street, Apopka, Florida 32712, 407-880-1007.

Dear David: I'm very sorry for your loss. I only met your mom a few times, but her love and devotion will continue to be seen through you, Anna and the entire Lane family.
