Dr. David Navarre Reifsnyder, M.D. was an excellent, brilliant, thorough and very caring and humble physician. Was so sad to hear about his passing. My son with Down Syndrome's doctor (Dr. Herrero, M.D.) referred me to Dr. Reifsnyder for infectious diseases Chronic- Mono, IBS, and several other immune disorders and informed me that all the Clearwater Doctors sent family members to him for complex multi-faceted medical conditions. Dr. Reifsnyder was ahead of his time and had me read Nicholas Regush's book "The Virus Within" A Coming Pandemic (ISBN 0-452-28222-5), citing HHV-6& HHV-7 Human Herpes Virus as the underlying root cause for many complex mysterious and multi-faceted immune illnesses. Viruses dormant in the human body can be activated and cause devastating illness/death. Book cites excessive vaccines as the culprit for "The Gulf War Syndrome" and many others. Dr. Reifsnyder was Wonderful Human Being who genuinely cared about people and ahead of his time. Praying for peace for Nelda and their family. Know he's in Heaven!

Dr. Reif-Snyder was an inspiration to me in Medical School at USF. He taught me to do the History and Physical. He arranged for my ID elective at Hospital Vozandes in Ecuador. This was a life changing experience for me and for it I will be ever grateful to him. I'm so sad to see such a wonderful man depart from this world but I know he is with his Savior.

I am so saddened to read the news of Dr, Reifsnyders passing. This caring physician helped me regain my health after seeing multiple physicians and tests many years ago.. He was the only physician that gave me a correct diagnosis and treatment. I remember making that first phone call to his Clearwater office and speaking with his wife Nellda and the genuine care I received from both of them. My sincere condolences to Nellda and the family. Rest in peace Dr. Reifsnyder
