INDIAN LAKE ESTATES - Mr. Herbert Edward Fox, 93, of Indian Lake Estates, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Life Care Center in Winter Haven, from the ravages of Alzheimer's disease.
He was born January 6, 1917 in Zanesville, Ohio and moved to Indian Lake Estates twenty years ago from Baltimore, Maryland.
He was employed as a CPA for Bethlehem Steel for forty-two years at Sparrow's Point Plant in Baltimore. He was a member of Sparrow's Point Golf and Country Club, Patapsco Masonic Lodge #183, and the Indian Lake Golf and Country Club.
His first wife Madge, sister Eleanor, and brother Richard predeceased him.
He is survived by his wife Fredda, daughter Janet Hoffman and husband Marc, and six grandchildren Katie, Joshua, Maggie, Zachary, Becky, and Sam, all of Baltimore.
No services are planned.

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the death of Herb. My Father, Hughes Johnson, was his friend and fellow golfer from Beth. Steel and Sparrows Pt. Country Club. He died in 1992. I had often wondered what had happened to some of my Dad's friends from this area. Beverly (Johnson) Tomlinson
