KOVACH, 83

LAKELAND - Mr. John G. Kovach, age 83 passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011 of a heart attack.
Mr. Kovach was born on March 18, 1928 in Youngstown, OH. John came to Lakeland from Reynoldsburg, OH. in 1993. He worked as a Research and Development Engineer with the Bell System Companies. John was the Communications Officer on the USS Tarawa during the Korean War, he was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and he played the violin for the Imperial Symphony for 17 years with his last concert on 4/30/2011.
Mr. Kovach is survived by his wife, Betty J. Kovach of Lakeland, FL.; son, Mark Kovach of Issaquah, WA.; daughters, Julie Kovach of Ann Harbor, MI. and Susan Kovach of Holland, OH.; brother, Francis Kovach of Sun City, AZ.; sister, Jean Lockwood of Fredericksburg, VA.; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Dear Aunt Betty and Family,
