LAKELAND - Mrs. Judy K. Lasseter, age 69, lost her courageous battle with cancer on 7/6/18 at Good Shepherd Hospice House. She was born 8/15/48 in Fort Riley, Kansas to the late Laura Elizabeth and Marchel Cantrell.
Judy's legacy was her love for Jesus Christ which she shared with everyone. She was saved in 6th grade. Jesus was the center of her life. She always said God showed her how to be a better person. She was a prayer warrior. She found her place as a registered nurse serving and caring for others. Anyone who knew Judy always got a hug. She was a member of Winter Haven Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Carroll Lasseter, son David Wander (Cherie) of Charlottesville, Virginia, son Doug Lasseter (Amy) of Winter Haven, FL, daughter Laura Brummer (Jeff) of Plant City, FL, daughter Debbie Cherok (Greg) of Blanchester, Ohio and 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Homecoming Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 17 at 11am at Winter Haven Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Good Shepherd Hospice in her name.
