LAKELAND - Mary E. Hossinger, 82, of Lakeland, FL passed away May 21, 2011 due to complications of dementia.
Preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Leonard; parents, Emma and William Plesse; and son-in-law, Walter Mc-Kinney.
Mary was born in Columbus, Ohio, grew up in Berlichingen, Germany, and lived in Columbus, Ohio until she retired from Ingersoll Rand and moved to Lakeland, FL. Mary's passion was spending time with family, gardening, travel, and sports.
Survived by daughters, Deborah McKinney (Lakeland), Heidi Hoss-inger (Dublin, OH); brother, Alfred (Jeanne) Plesse (Las Vegas); grandsons, Chad (Sarah) McKinney and Jeremy (Jennifer) McKinney; great grandchildren, Erick, Adam, Kara and Corey McKinney.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Gentry-Morrison Northside Chapel; 5245 US 98 North, Lakeland, FL 33809. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, Development Dept., 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.

Mary was such an amazing person she always had a smile on that always made everyone else smile. I am glad I had the chance to know her.
