LAKELAND - Paul H. Bourcier, husband of the late June L. Bourcier, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2012 in Lakeland, Fl, due to cancer.
He was born in Springfield, Ma, on Feb. 20, 1931. He was a World War II Air Force veteran and lived most of his adult life in Columbus, Oh, before retiring to Lakeland. He was known for his quick wit and helping hand. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known and loved him.
He is survived by children, Paul L. Bourcier (Miste), Sue Mangan (David) and Chad Bour-cier (Annie), grandchildren D. Bruce Mangan (Ruth), Andy Mangan (Jenny), Shelly Kincaid, Autumn Bourcier, and great grandchildren, Charlotte Mangan and Allison Mangan. He is also survived by siblings Roger Bourcier, Jerry Bourcier and Gloria Neimi. The family would like to acknowledge Linda Grelle, who without her love and dedication, our father would not have been able to have his wish fulfilled of being able to spend his final days in his home. We are eternally grateful for this gift.
Graveside services will be performed at Florida National Cemetery, Dec. 28, 2012 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, Fla. 33823.
