To Kristen and all of the Carr Family - My deepest condolences on your loss. Robert has been in my thoughts and prayers ever since I heard his having cancer. I am saddened by the news of his passing.

Robert and I were best friends growing up until the age of 8 when we moved out into the highlands. We played together and went on hiking adventures in our neighborhood. We played in the tree house and watched Batman together and everyday was a treat. Our families were close friends and remain so even today. It is sad that we lost touch over the years, but he was, and will remain to be, always in my thoughts.

May God bring you comfort in this time of need and may you and your family be ever filled with the wonderful memories he brought to us all. I know he is smiling down on us all.

To Kristen and the entire Carr family,
I am so deeply saddened by the loss of Robert. He has been in my prayers a lot since I heard years ago of his cancer.

I esp remember Robert from when he was young and I would occasionally babysit him, or when he and Ted would play with my sister Katie, or just having him around as the youngest brother when I was over at the Carr household with Beth. Many memories! What a handsome, fun loving and sweet guy Robert always was. He will surely be missed by so very many here in Lakeland as well as in Atlanta and beyond.

May God's angels bring you some comfort during this most difficult time. May your memories bring you joy.

Kristen, I was deeply saddened to hear of Robert's passing. We were good friends as teenagers in Lakeland, Florida. Even though I hadn't been in contact with Robert for many, many years, I so clearly remember his quiet, gentle way and his beautifully warm smile. He was such a special person. I send you, Cater and Mary Grace my most sincere condolences.

Dear Kristen, Cater and Mary Grace,

I went to Santa Fe with Robert and wanted you to know how much Robert was loved in our class. Not only was he a fun guy to be around, but mostly I remember how kind he was to everyone. A true southern gentleman. We missed him so much at our reunion a few years back, but heard of his brave fight against cancer. An email was sent around with a picture of ya'll and it did not surprise me how beautiful his family is.

We as a class will always remember him fondly. God Bless you all.

Dear Kristen,

It was such a pleasure working with Robert. We were both on a project for some time at a client in Irvine, CA. Robert shared stories of your family and it was evident how much he loved all of you. What really made Robert a special person to work with was his positive, fun attitude and his wonderful smile. I will miss him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Kristen:

I had the sincere pleasure of working with Robert for the last several years. Despite his circumstances, he maintained a positive outlook and can do attitude. I appreciated Robert's sense of humor but most importantly his trusted friendship. May you, Cater and Mary Grace be comforted by the great memories and love he had for you.

Robert: May you rest in peace and be comforted by the love and support provided to your family. You'll be missed by your family and co-workers.

I am so very sorry and I want all of you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this terribly sad time. I first met Robert when he and Susie lived in the apartment below Celie shortly after they moved home in 1966. Robert was a toddler at the time whose favorite pastime was riding his rocking horse. He was an excellent horseman from an early age, he could be heard riding his horse all hours of the day and night.

I know your hearts are very heavy today but I pray that as time passes they will fill with wonderful memories of this very special man who touched so many during his all too short life.
