LAKELAND - Mrs. Shirley Jean Holland, 52, died June 1, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to respiratory failure.
She was born February 6, 1959 in St. Augustine, Florida and moved to Polk City from Eaton Park 13 years ago. Mrs. Holland was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her husband Lester Holland of Polk City, sons Daniel Holland, Shawn Holland and Shane Holland, all of Polk City, brothers Bobby Langston of St. Augustine and Daryl Langston of Birmingham, Alabama. Mrs. Holland is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday 2 to 4 PM at Lakeland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday 10 AM in the chapel of Lakeland Funeral Home.

It has been almost two months since you left us. I miss you so very much and there is not a day that goes by that I do not think about you, or the great and wonderful impact that you have made on my life. I know that you are no longer suffering and you are now looking down on me and keeping me smiling up at you as you smile down on me. I love you and will never forget you. Thank you for being who you were to me, my momma!

You will be miss ... you were a wonderful wife a mother a grandmother a sister and friend but most of all a Beautiful person... may you be in peace and MY thoughts and prayers go out to the Holland men Lester, Shane, Shawn and Daniel may God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow, and the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
