LAKELAND - Wesley "Wes" A. Pribla, 96, of "Woodbrook Estates" Lakeland, Florida died Friday morning in the home of his daughter in Granger, In. Formerly of Woodstock, Il. Wes was the owner of the Wesley Fur Shop. He developed dairy pre-forming equipment and was the owner-president of Weslor Manufacturing.
He was born November 15, 1916 in New York, NY to Anton and Eugenia (Charytanska) Przybyla. On May 30, 1946 in Chicago he married Lorraine R. Cyze who preceded him in death along with a brother, Eugene Matthews and his parents.
Surviving are 1 son: Wesley R. ( Linda) Pribla of Woodstock,Il; 2 daughters: Kathie (John) Sebastian of Holly Springs, NC and Cindy (Joe) Maloney of Grange. A sister: Christine (Jerry) Long of Chicago and his longtime companion: Emily Krezesinski.
He was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church, VFW, Elks, Moose and Knights of Columbus. He served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre and received the Silver Star.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Noon (Eastern Time) Friday, November 30 at Christ the King Catholic Church 52473 State Road 933, SouthBend, In. 46637.
