Betty: I have so many fond memories of Bill, all the way back to Miami & Regal beer days. He was one of the main reasons I pledged SAE at Florida, a wise decision, as we both were initiated there and graduated from Miami. I know your faith will pull you through this difficult time. Your friend, Bill Sutton

Dear Betty,
My deepest sympathy to you and your dear family. When my husband, Ed, passed away recently, Bill said "Ed was a man that you can be proud of". We can say the same for Bill. He will be missed.
GOD bless you,

Dear Betty, Bill was a great guy. He was a special childhood friend. I learned to drive in his car on Riveria Dr. I still remember him swinging the paddle when I joined phi delta pi. His father helped pay my way through dental school my sophomore year by fireing Bill and giving me his job at the Regal bruery. I remember him planning how he was going to marry you. He was smitten by you. It was a good thing you wanted that sport car. You were the most wonderful thing in his blife and he treasured you. My prayers are with you. Love Jack (Kelley)

My condolences to the family and friends. My association with Bill and the Garrard's go back a long way. He knew people in high places at the Regal Brewery (his dad) and got me a job there. I eventually came back when it became Anheuser-Busch and stayed until leaving for law school. Our paths separated for a number of years while Bill and his wonderful wife, Betty raised a family and I did the same. Then, as a lawyer, I was able to help Bill in a big case involving his gas station and on other matters as well.
I could go on and on about Bill and the family. Mrs Garrard treated me like a member almost. One of them scored the first touchdown ever for Coral Gables high.
Bill was the only person in the world who called me every year on December 23 to wish me a happy birthday. He was the hardest worker I ever met. He was kind, considerate, a wonderful family man with a smile. I don't know what else to say other than I loved him and will miss him forever and ever. I'm also familiar with the big āCā taking my mother and sister. It's sad to say, but I'm glad the pain is over for Bill.
To all the family members, you can proudly say, Bill was one of us, and to friends, you can proudly say Bill was my friend.
