LAKE WALES - Mrs. Anne T. Kuhn, 69, of Lake Wales, Florida, died Sunday, October 25, 2009, at Winter Haven Hospital, of respiratory failure.
She was born May 22, 1940 in Hempstead, New York and moved to Lake Wales in August 1973 from Paris, Tennessee. She was a registered nurse and worked in the Lake Wales Medical Center Intensive Care Unit for nearly thirty years. Anne was very active with the Columbiettes at the state and national level. She was a past State President for the Florida State Council and past Advocate to the Supreme Council. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Wales.
Survivors include her husband Elston G. Kuhn, sons Stephen J. Kuhn of Lake Wales and Michael A. Kuhn of Lusby, Maryland, and two grandchildren Catherine A. Kuhn and Michael A. Kuhn, Jr.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Rev. Anthony Bluett as celebrant. The visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home with the Columbiettes service and rosary at 7:30 P.M. Inurnment will be made at Lake Wales Cemetery.
