LAKELAND - Viola R. Firle, age 79, died November 5, 2009 at home from heart failure.
Viola was born February 5, 1930 in Grantsville, MD. to John & Leafie (Platter) Ohler. Viola moved to Lakeland, FL. from New Castle, IN. 30 years ago. Viola was a sales clerk and a member of Willow Oak Baptist Church where she was very involved with church charities.
Viola is survived by her husband of 61 years Charles Firle, sons David (Tracy) Firle and Gary Firle, five grandchildren, and sisters Mabel, Doris Ellen & Edith.
Visitation will be held Monday November 9, 2009 at Willow Oak Baptist Church from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M.
