HANS, Sr., 77

AUBURNDALE - Edward "Mr Ed" William Hans Sr., 77 of Auburndale went home to be with the Lord on 5/11/12 due to complications with Dementia.
He was born August 24, 1934 in Camden, NJ to Harry E. and Lucy Hans. He retired from Wm. Bryan Co. of Camden, NJ as a Truck Driver and in 1991 moved from Woodlynne, NJ to Auburndale, Fl.
He was a Member of Teamster 676 of Philadelphia/NJ area. Member of Winter Haven Moose Lodge #1023 their Bowling, Golf Leagues. Past Member of St. Anthony's Bowling Leagues of NJ. His pastimes were spending time with family, golf, bowling, fishing, horseshoes, darts, playing pool (9 ball), and many other sports.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years, Mary E., both his parents, a son John E. Hans, 3 Brothers and 3 Sisters. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Brother and Uncle. He is survived by daughters, Lucille Hoogerwerff (Leonard) of Auburndale, Barbara Hoogerwerff (Karl) of Polk City, Frances Hans of Auburndale, Mary Spradley (Henry) of Lake Wales; sons, Edward Hans Jr. of Auburndale, and Robert Hans Sr (Laura) of Polk City; one sister-in-law, Marion Hans of Glassboro, NJ. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will take place on Saturday May 19, 2012, at 11 am at NEW LIFE BAPTIST CHURCH 380 SR 559 , Auburndale, Fl, where family and friends are invited to attend.
