BELDON A.
FARMER, 81

LAKE WALES - Beldon A. Farmer, 81 of Lake Wales, died June 2, 2012 due to respiratory failure. Beldon was born August 13, 1930 in (Indian Creek) Duty, VA to James Waldron and Hazel (Kirk) Farmer and moved to Polk County in 1962. Beldon was a World War II Army Veteran and worked for over 35 years in the citrus industry in Polk County. He also was employed with Universal Building Specialties in Auburndale with over 25 years of employment.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elvine; his sister, Helen Rollins and his brother, Levi Farmer. Beldon is survived by his son, Charles (wife Susan) Farmer of Winter Haven; his daughters, Sandra Taylor of Winter Haven, Betty Farmer of Lake Wales and Carolyn Farmer of Winter Haven; his step-daughters, Carol Selgren of Winter Haven and Pat Gray of Lake Wales; his sister, Pearl Kirk of Bartow; his brothers, Dorsey Farmer of Georgia, Walter Farmer of Babson Park and Earl Farmer of Winter Haven. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 1-2pm at the Lakeland Funeral Home where funeral services will be held that day at 2pm. Interment will take place in Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
