AUBURNDALE - Mr. Harvey Allen Rubinson, age 68, a resident of Auburndale passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Winter Haven Hospital due to heart failure.
Mr. Rubinson was born March 19, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA. to Bernard and Geraldine (Glaser) Rubinson. Harvey and his wife have been Auburndale residents since 1997 and Florida residents since 1975, coming from Maryland. He was a United States Air Force veteran and a past president of Lake Alfred Lions Club. Harvey enjoyed fishing, working on old cars and he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Harvey is survived by his loving & devoted family: wife of 47 years: Hazel Rubinson of Auburndale, FL, 2 daughters: Diane (David) Grant of Auburndale, FL, Lisa (Jorge) Ramirez of Orlando, FL, brother: Gary (Nancy) Rubinson of St. Petersburg, FL, sister: Janice of Calif, 2 granddaughters: Savannah & Briana.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 East Lake Stella Dr., Auburndale.
Visitation will be held before services from 5:00 till 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
