HAINES CITY - Ruby Lee Barnett Moss, 85, of Haines City, FL, passed away on June 27, 2012 of lung failure.
She was born on April 2, 1927 in Batesville, AR and moved to Haines City 61 years ago from Keiser, AR. Ruby was a homemaker, wife and mother who loved to read, garden and go fishing. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is predeceased by her husband, Bransford G. Moss and a grandson, Gene Murdock. Ruby is survived by her children, Nettie Ireland of Willacoochee, GA, Jimmie Moss and Patricia Ann Pierce, both of Haines City; sister, Ruth Gardner of Altus, AR; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care and the funeral will be Monday, 7/2/12 at 10 am at the funeral home. Condolences may be made to www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
