GILMET, 89
LAKELAND - Effie C. Gilmet, 89, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on July 21, 2012 of cancer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Ted" Gilmet. She is survived by her son, Lou Fiorentino of Lakeland, FL; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Michael and Charlene Fiorentino of Nashville, TN. She has one great-grandchild due in September.
Effie lived and worked in New York City for 25 years. Retiring from Sky Chef, she moved to Plant City in the early 1970's. She and Ted married in 1986 and moved to Lakeland, where they spent 20 loving years together before Ted's passing in 2006.
A viewing will be held from 6PM-8PM Tuesday July 24 at Wells Memorial Funeral Home in Plant City. The service will be held the following morning, Wednesday July 25, at 11AM at Wells.
