LAKELAND - Doris Eugenia Roach, age 82, died of congestive heart failure Tuesday (July 31, 2012).
Born in Bartow, FL, on August 31, 1929, she was a lifelong resident of the area. Doris was an office clerk and a member of Lakewood Park UMC.
Mrs. Roach is survived by her husband Gene Roach, Lakeland; sons Joel Greene, Cummings, GA, Eddie Roach, Lakeland, Kenny Roach, GA, Timmy Roach, Franklin, N.C.; daughter Kim Devanna, Boston, MA; brother Ralph Carter, Atlanta, GA; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1-2pm Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 at Lakewood Park UMC. Services will follow at 2pm Friday at the church, Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
