AUBURNDALE - Mrs. Christine DeBarry Faircloth, 79, of Auburndale passed away, Friday, August 10, 2012 at Good Shepherd Hospice at Palm Terrace due to cancer.
Born Dec. 31, 1932 in Auburndale, Fl she lived most her life here except for time traveling with her husband while in the military. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Auburndale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett in 1980; her parents, and 3 brothers, Lavern, Winifred, Hinton. She is survived by: 2 sons, David Faircloth and his wife Denise of Lakeland, FL and Douglas Faircloth and his wife Sally of Auburndale, FL; a daughter, Marsha Broxton and her husband Dale of Auburndale; a brother, Grady DeBarry of Tampa; 2 sisters, Ella V. Little Workman of Auburndale and Twila McCleary of Haines City, FL; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Auburndale. Interment will follow at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
