LAKE WALES - Mr. Eric David Gable, 52, of Lake Wales, died on Monday, August 13, 2012, in Winter Haven as the result of an auto accident.
He was born on May 27, 1960 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was a 1978 graduate of Crown Point High School in Indiana and moved to Lake Wales thirty years ago. He was an electrician for Central Florida Electric in Lake Wales. He attended of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Wales.
He is survived by his mother Jean Peyton Jones, wife Songel Gable, and daughter Nikki Gable, all of Lake Wales, brothers Scott (Kathie) Gable of Crown Point and Steven Gable of DeMotte, Indiana, sisters Terri (David) Evans of Winter Haven and Robyn (Timothy) Prater of Lake Wales, step-siblings David Jones, Deirdre Ham, and Elaine Jones, and sixteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Dad William Kenyon Jones, Jr. and a brother Brian David Gable.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 16, 2012, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home. The most Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:30 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 17, 2012, at 12:00 noon at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Rev. Anthony Bluett as celebrant. Interment will follow at Lake Wales Cemetery.
