LAKELAND - Mr. William Carl Brancke, 48, died Sunday February 3, 2013 from injuries resulting from a motorcycle accident.
Bill was born July 14, 1964 in Plattsburg, NY. He was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed working on his Harley Davidson. He was a member of the Avengers motorcycle club, known by his brothers and others as "Hopalong". Bill worked for Yellow Freight Company in Cleveland, OH, for 14 years and most recently was a truck driver for Star Distribution warehousing Company, Plant City. Bill spent time with his brothers from the Avengers motorcycle club traveling to various destinations. Bill was a Pittsburg Steelers fan and liked new foods and different restaurants.
Bill is survived by his wife Jackie Bellanco Brancke, Lakeland; his 2 sons, Chris, and Bryan, 1 daughter Gabrielle, all from Erie, PA; his parents Bill and Priscilla Brancke, Winter Haven; 3 sisters Pamela (Leigh) Guenther, Winter Haven, Carol (Alan) Rupp, Cary, NC, and Kate (Chad) Keene, Hunterville, NC and 1 grandchild.
Visitation will be at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel Saturday February 9, 2013 from 10 - 12 am with funeral services to follow at 12 noon. Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens are in charge of arrangements at 2125 South Bartow Hwy., Lakeland FL.
