John, Terri, and John,Jr.,

I was so saddened to learn about Jerrie's passing. She was truly a special person and, even though our days at Lakeland Goodwill were long behind us, I thought of her often. She was such a sincere, caring person. Her family was paramount in her mind and her heart, and it was always clearly known that the three of you, and your families, were the true loves of her life.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

For more than 30 years Jerrie has been my teammate, doubles partner, traveling companion, roommate for conventions and tournaments, and one of the best friends anyone could ask for. Getting lost when driving in strange cities was even fun and we did that often no matter which of us was driving. I know how much I will miss her and my heart hurts for John, John Jr.,Terri and the grandchldren because they have lost a very special lady. My love and deepest condolences go to them and all the family.

Dear John and family, my heart goes out to you. I loved working with Jerrie, she taught me so much about HR and life. I loved to hear all about the family escapes & 'Nicholasisms'. We shared five years of lunch together, talking and laughing, everyday while working at Rooms To Go. She was so special, working with every employee, as an individual, advising and helping them make good choices. I cherish the times we shared and will always remember my friend, Jerrie. Vicki Elie
