WINTER HAVEN - Carole J. Hoak, 75, passed away on September 18, 2013 due to respiratory failure.
She was born in Hamilton, OH, and moved to this area forty years ago from Tipp City, OH. She was a homemaker, a member of 1st Church of the Nazarene, Winter Haven, a member of Ladies of the Lake, and the organizer of the Prayer Shawl Ministries at 1st Nazarene.
Mrs. Hoak is survived by her husband, Bruce Hoak, sons, Jeff Hoak, Babson Park, FL, David Hoak, Cocoa, FL, daughters, Amy McKinney (Terry), Asheville, NC, Stephanie Rerucha (Billy), Winter Haven, FL, grandsons, Mitch Hoak (Brooke), Kyle McKinney, Joshua Hoak, Cody McKinney, Liam Rerucha, granddaughters, Megan Hoak, Sierra Rerucha, and one great grandchild, River Hoak.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Sept. 23, at 10 am at the 1st Church of the Nazarene, Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 1st Nazarene Church for the Prayer Shawl Ministries.
