LAKELAND - Betty Sue "Honey" McClelland of Lakeland went to be with the Lord on May 5, 2014, due to heart failure.
Born in Hazard County, KY on July 18, 1925, she married, Capt. Chester James "Chuck" Stull, USMC, in Roanoke VA. Upon moving to WV and having two sons, Chester James Stull, III and Curtis R. Stull, they finally settled to Florida in 1960.
Honey was a loving devoted wife and mother with family being the center of her life. She was an avid homemaker in which the holidays were her specialty. She enjoyed baking, gardening, dance, painting and was very active in politics.
The joy in her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Chester James "Chuck" Stull and second husband, D. Ray McClelland, two sisters & two brothers-in-law. Survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Service will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 at 3 pm at Central Florida Casket & Funeral Chapel.
