PEPPER, 81

BEVERLY HILLS, FL. - Franklin Bryan Pepper, 81, of Beverly Hills, Florida, passed away August 2, 2014.
He was born December 1, 1932, in Mims, Brevard County, Florida, to the late James Kelsey Pepper and Maggie May Conner Pepper. He graduated from Lakeland Senior High School in 1950. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and served in Stuttgart, Germany. He was a past Rotarian and a member of the American Legion and the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks. He was an avid genealogist, helping many friends and family members trace their ancestries. He was a dedicated salt water fisherman and enjoyed taking friends and family on his boat.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Bonita Pepper, two sons, Peter D. Kantor and Michael J. Kantor, and his daughter Patricia K. Wooley, his brother Hugh J. Pepper and his wife Betty, brother-in-law John W. Vogt and his wife Tonie, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will take place Saturday, August 9th, 10:00am at the Crystal River First Baptist Church. A graveside Service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lakeland at 3:00pm Saturday afternoon. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that Memorial Contributions may be made to the Florida Baptist Children's Home in Lakeland, Florida
