Messick Auto Salvage & Wrecker Service

PLANT CITY - Luther "Hilliary" Messick, 80, of Plant City departed this life Sept. 12, 2010 due to heart failure.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, JoAnn. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Georgina; seven children, Sam Messick (Merry), Jimmy Messick (Pat), Brenda Messick, Tommy Ellison, Angel Armstrong, Leonard Armstrong (Angie), and Philip Armstrong; siblings, Jimmy Lanier, Edna Boutwell, and Cassie Harwell; his special pal, "Lucky"; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Mr. Messick was a veteran of the United States Army and the owner of Messick Auto Salvage and Wrecker Service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and member of Three Rivers and Sand Hill Hunt Clubs.
Visitation will be held Tues. Sept. 14 (tonight) 6pm - 8pm at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 County Rd. 39 S., Plant City. Services will take place Wed. Sept. 15 at 10am at Hopewell Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Holland officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Memorial Gardens. Expressions of condolence at 813.737.3128
