FAIN, 66

LAKELAND - Carl E. Fain, age 66, of Lakeland passed away 12-25-2010 of respiratory failure.
Carl was born on August 16, 1944 in Logan, WV and was a Marine Vietnam veteran. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather that served as a deacon at Christ Memorial Baptist Church. Carl's interest in life were witnessing to the lost for the Lord, camping, fishing, spending time with his family, and the great outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Fain; sister, Sarah Padgett; brothers George and James Fain. Carl is survived by his wife of 36 yrs. Linda Fain; mother Lilly Fain; his 3 daughters and spouse, Carla and James McMillan, Lake-land, Carolyn Yates, Lakeland, and Jenna Fain- Lakeland; 10 grandchildren; one great granddaughter, all of Lakeland; brother David Fain, Ashville, NC; 5 sisters, Anna Everett, Black Mountain, NC, Deloris Sorbilli, South Point, OH, Peggy Branstetter, Black Mountain, NC, Marie Adkins, Asheville, NC, and Barbara Bowling, Tampa, FL.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on January 2, 2011 at Christ Memorial Baptist Church in Lakeland, FL. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be given.
Arrangements with David Russell Funeral Home.

Daddy,
You are truly missed each day! I miss you very much and not being able to see your smile, hug you, or see you in your rocking recliner is something I will treasure always.
